To help you plan your big day we have provided you with the following information as a guide depending on your choice of ceremony.
Suggested order of the day:
- Ceremony
- Photographs
- Taken anywhere within the venue
- Drinks Reception
- Receiving Line
- This is an opportunity to welcome all your guests and thank them for attending
- Wedding Breakfast
- The cake is cut after the main course and served with coffee after the dessert toast and speeches
- Speeches
- Evening Reception Commences
- Your buffet is served at your chosen time
- Bar Closes
- We are licensed until 12am
- Carriages
- Entertainment ends and guests depart at 12.30am
Order of speeches:
- Father of the Bride
- Groom
- Best Man
Receiving Line
The traditional order to welcome your guests prior to the wedding breakfast is:
- Bride’s Mother and Father
- Grooms Parents
- Bride and Groom
- Best Man and Chief Bridesmaid
Top table arrangements
The traditional top table arrangements should face your guests as shown
Grace
You may wish to nominate a guest to say grace. Sometimes, grace is not said.
Cutting the cake
Traditionally the cake is cut after the main course and served with Coffee after the Dessert, Toast and Speeches
