Venue P.O.S.H. has been granted approval by Southampton City Council to be used as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages. Below are the room hire charges for your civil ceremony. These figures do not include the registrars fee.

When a provisional booking is made for a civil ceremony at Venue P.O.S.H. the bride and groom are requested to contact the Superintendent Registrar at the address below:

The Superintendent and registrar must be present for your marriage to be official. It is therefore essential to make an advance booking with the registrar for their attendance at your marriage.
Notice of your marriage must be given to the Superintendent registrar of the districts in which the couple live. This notice must be given in person by each member of the couple.
